PDXoriginals Powell Accent Chair - Black Leather

Simplistic but sophisticated, the Powell Accent Chair is everything you remember about the original Chromcraft Airport Bench, in an adaptable accent chair that fits the home, office, or parlor. Gorgeous, distressed Black Leather hides are accented with 1960's Ferrari inspired, Tuck and Roll stitching, with tufted buttons on the backrest. The original chrome and aluminum accents have been polished, helping this versatile accent chair stay true to it's mid century roots, while fitting contemporary decor as well.  The gorgeous chrome legs are inspired by early passenger airplanes, and draw you back to the glory days of airport travel. 
 
These chairs are built from the Chromcraft benches originally installed at PDX Airport in the early 1980s. Built by venerable mid century furniture maker, Chromcraft. These chairs have a timeless style and durable construction built to stand the test of time. With sustainability in mind, the original vinyl upholstery has been replaced with premium leather, and all the metal accents have been polished. Some minor nicks and wear may appear on the accents, but these are in excellent condition considering age.
