Located in the heart of historic downtown Stayton, The Box, LLC Shared Offices set out to create a space that balanced professional function with welcoming design. They needed furniture that could support a variety of users—entrepreneurs, remote workers, and small teams—while enhancing the aesthetic of a restored downtown building. The goal: pieces that would feel both timeless and contemporary, durable and inviting.
The Solution

PDXOriginals partnered with The Box, LLC to install our signature Saddle Brown Leather PDX Airport Benches. Originally built to serve millions of travelers at Portland International Airport, these benches were restored and reimagined for their new environment. Upholstered in rich saddle brown leather, each piece brings a sense of warmth, heritage, and sophistication to the shared office space. With their polished chrome and aluminum frame, the benches offer a modern contrast to the traditional materials of the historic building. The seating is not only visually striking, but also ergonomic, durable, and flexible, supporting everything from quick meetings to quiet moments of focus.Â

The benches have helped transform The Box, LLC into a functional and visually cohesive workspace. They serve as comfortable landing spots throughout the shared areas, inviting collaboration, connection, and productivity. The mid-century design and premium leather upholstery reflect the community’s deep-rooted character while projecting a professional, design-forward identity.
