The Challenge
TEDxPortland needed to transform their event venue into a thoughtfully furnished environment that could support high attendee volume, promote connection, and reflect the creative, forward-thinking spirit of the TEDx brand. The space required versatile surfaces and comfortable seating solutions with both function and style in mind.
The Solution

PDX Originals partnered with TEDxPortland to supply a curated mix of contract furniture and custom-designed pieces tailored to the needs of a large-scale, high-visibility event. A highlight of the installation was the inclusion of PDX Originals’ signature PDX Airport Bench—a crowd favorite.
The Result
The furnished space elevated the TEDxPortland experience—encouraging collaboration, conversation, and comfort. 
PDX Originals’ pieces not only met functional needs but also reinforced the local, creative identity of the event. The installation served as both a backdrop and a talking point for attendees.
