The Challenge
The Portland Trail Blazers required a set of dining tables that could accommodate their team’s specific spatial, functional, and aesthetic needs within their training facility’s dining hall. Standard commercial furniture options didn’t meet the requirements in terms of size, durability, and design cohesion with the rest of the space.
The Solution
PDX Originals partnered with the Trail Blazers to design and fabricate custom-built dining tables tailored specifically for the team’s needs. The tables were engineered to maximize seating capacity while maintaining clear sightlines and a clean, modern look that matched the facility’s branding and interior design. Every table was built using sustainably sourced materials, aligning with both organizations’ values.
The Result
The result was a set of high-quality, durable tables that perfectly fit the dining space—both in terms of dimensions and design. The players and staff now enjoy a communal space that’s functional, comfortable, and visually aligned with the rest of the Trail Blazers’ facility. The success of this project further strengthened the relationship between PDX Originals and one of Portland’s most iconic teams.
