Located off Sandy Blvd in Inner NE Portland, the newly built Broadstone Tempo Apartments were designed to offer residents a sleek and elevated living experience. The developers were looking for standout furniture pieces that would match the building’s modern architecture and upscale finishes, while also creating a welcoming, design-forward atmosphere in communal areas.Â
The Solution

PDXOriginals provided a reimagined classic: our signature PDX Airport Bench, expertly restored and customized for the space. Originally used at Portland International Airport, each bench was cleaned, hand-polished, and reupholsteredin royal blue fabric, adding a vibrant pop of color and a touch of local history to the building’s interior. With its mid-century modern form, durable construction, and bold yet refined aesthetic, the PDX Airport Bench was the perfect fit for Broadstone Tempo’s shared spaces. Its clean lines and timeless design elevate the ambiance, while the custom upholstery introduces a contemporary twist that complements the building’s overall aesthetic.Â
